Expanding our repairs team to help with customer demand

New additions to the team include joiners, plasterers, bricklayers, roofers, multi-trades, general maintenance operatives and work planners.

As the largest housing provider in the North East, Thirteen carries out around 150,000 repairs each year.

With support from the new recruits, the team is looking to build on its capacity and the responsiveness of the service.

Steph Lawlor, Head of Repairs at Thirteen, said: “Welcoming our new repairs team colleagues this week is an exciting milestone in the work we are doing to help make further improvements to services for our customers.

"We’ve listened and acted on feedback and information we’ve received through complaints from our customers on our repairs service, and this new team will play a positive role in helping to meet customer demand and improving customer satisfaction even further.
