Chief Executive recruitment

Thirteen is currently working on the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive.

Our new Chief Executive will be a confident, visionary, energetic, values led leader, responsible for leading Thirteen Group through the next stage of its development, focussing on the ambitions set out in our 2022 to 2027 Strategic Plan. Our plan encompasses four key priorities: great customer experience providing quality places to live and improving neighbourhoods, being ‘Team Thirteen’ and our commitment to net zero and reducing environmental impacts.

As part of our commitment to living well, our teams will be expected to react to the economic and social events being faced by our residents: we anticipate that these will push many into real hardship, requiring us to ensure our services and support are of the highest standard and have a really positive impact on our customers’ lives.

We are looking for an ambitious individual with a formidable track record in leadership that combines strong strategic vision with the ability to effectively lead and support a dynamic organisation and its employees.

The successful candidate will have a real desire to make a difference in the North East. They will be a critical thinker with experience of working in a complex environment with substantial budgets and wide-ranging responsibilities. They will bring a strong and genuine personal commitment to the cause of social housing, care and support, and to the organisation’s vision, values and goals.
