This will be to ensure that people are protecting their homes to help prevent criminals targeting their properties during the darker months.
At each event, light timers, personal attack alarms and property marking pens will be handed out and officers and staff from the crime prevention team and partner agencies will be in attendance to provide home security and personal safety advice in relation to the dark nights.
The first crime prevention event will take place at Tesco in Hartlepool on Monday 24th October between 10:30am and 12pm. Crime Prevention and Architectural Liaison Officer Stephen Davies will be in attendance alongside members from Safer Hartlepool Partnership.
The second event, will be held at Tesco in Coulby Newham on Wednesday 26th October between 12pm and 2pm. Crime Prevention and Architectural Liaison Officer Stephen Davies will be in attendance along with members of Safer Stockton Partnership and Stockton Trading Standards.
For the third event, this will be held at Tesco in Stockton on Thursday 27th October between 10:30pm and 12pm and Crime Prevention and Architectural Liaison officer Stephen Davies will be in attendance.
