Easier ways to pay

We wanted to remind customers that we no longer have ‘rent-free’ weeks around the Christmas period.

In the past, some customers have paid their rent over 48 or 49 instalments. We changed this process last year so that rent payments are spread more equally throughout the year. As a result, all customers now pay their rent over 52 weeks of the year, helping to spread rent payments over a longer period.

This change was part of a range of measures we have taken over the last few years to make it easier for you to pay your rent.

Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay - you can simply arrange for the payment to come out of your bank account on a date convenient for you. Once it’s set up, you don’t need to do anything as your rent is automatically paid from your bank account.

You can also pay your rent via the website. You’ll need a credit or debit card together with your Allpay payment card which you can use at the Allpay website. You can also use your Allpay card to make payments at any Post Office or Pay Point outlet.

We have also recently developed the Self Service website for which you can register to view your rent account online and link to the Allpay rent payment website.
