Thirteen supports Home Safety Week

The national campaign week, which runs from Monday 13 until Sunday 19 June, has seen the Building Safety team and Housing Services working together to visit a number of locations to speak to customers and provide advice and guidance on home safety.

Thirteen’s building compliance specialist Kimberley Craig said: “It’s vitally important that our customers are safe in their homes.

“There’s many ways we can all keep ourselves safe in our homes, from preventing accidental fires, keeping communal areas clear, to understanding the importance of gas and electrical safety checks and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

“We’re continuing to work with customers to educate them about building and fire safety and what they can do to help themselves to stay safe in their home.”
