Pallister Park estate project
We're working in the Pallister Park estate in Middlesbrough to help make improvements in the area.
In 2020, we held a special event for residents to tell us how we can help improve Pallister Park.
We listened to the views of local people and have been working on a number of projects in the area:
What happened on the day
Around 50 people came along to tell us what they like about the area, how they think it should change, and what are the top priorities for the estate.
Thanks to everyone who attended the event; we received lots of great feedback and ideas about ways of improving the estate. You can see more about the event in the presentation above.
We also discussed ways residents can take ownership of some of the issues on the estate and heard about some exciting work a group of residents from Todmorden in West Yorkshire have done to bring neighbours together and tackle problems in their area. You can see more information about the Incredible Edibles group on their website.
Following January's event, we will:
- Publish plans for the improvements Thirteen will carry out in the Pallister Park estate by Spring 2020
- Keep you up-to-date with progress of work carried out following the event
- Share a list of residents who would like to remain in contact following the event
- Keep you informed of future events and opportunities to take part in improving where you live.
Keep an eye on this webpage for more details. Alternatively, for more details get in touch with your neighbourhood co-ordinator.
