We offer grants of up to £600 to support projects that make a positive difference in our neighbourhoods – helping communities thrive and supporting wellbeing and sustainability.

Who we support

We welcome applications from groups and organisations working in areas where Thirteen has homes. This includes:

  • Community groups
  • Local  charities
  • Residents’ associations
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Public sector bodies
  • Thirteen service teams

If you're applying as a Thirteen staff member, your project must be community-led, and you’ll need to speak to relevant departments to see if they can support your application before submitting it.

We ask all applicants to show they have match funding in place – this could be cash, donated materials or volunteer time.

What we fund

Projects must support at least one of the following themes and must link to our strategic priorities: happy customers, fantastic homes and brilliant people.

By encouraging joint working, the Community Fund helps improve local communities and make them places people are proud to live.

  • Social and personal development skills – helping residents build life and employment skills
  • Health and wellbeing – supporting people to live happy, healthy lives
  • Community involvement and resident engagement – creating a sense of belonging
  • Community safety – making neighbourhoods safer
  • Environment – making communities cleaner and greener
  • Financial and digital inclusion – helping people access the services and tools they need

How to apply
