We’re here to help customers who need a little extra support setting up their home with furniture and household essentials.
Our furniture upcycling team restores donated items and gives them a new lease of life. These once-loved pieces are then passed on to customers who:
- Have low incomes
-
Are rebuilding after homelessness
-
Are fleeing unsafe situations
-
Have lost possessions
This scheme helps people furnish their homes with clean, attractive furniture – while also preventing hundreds of tonnes of waste from going to landfill.
How to get support
If you’re struggling and need help, speak to your housing services co-ordinator. They’ll make a referral directly to our furniture upcycling team.

Upcycling shop
We’ve opened a pop-up shop to raise funds for furniture packs and household essentials for customers who need a little extra help.
We sell unique, upcycled furniture pieces – and all profits go straight back into the scheme.
This helps us provide high-demand items like mattresses, bedding and starter packs, and buy materials to upcycle more lovely furniture.
