We want our neighbourhoods to be clean, safe and welcoming for everyone. If you see fly-tipping, please report it, you’ll be helping to make your community a better place to live.

What is fly-tipping?

Fly-tipping is when someone illegally dumps rubbish or unwanted items in public spaces or on land they don’t own. It’s a crime – and it can be dangerous, messy and harmful to the environment.

Fly-tipping includes things like:

  • leaving furniture, mattresses or appliances in alleyways or on pavements
  • dumping bags of household or garden waste in parks or green spaces
  • tipping building materials or rubble on land without permission

It’s irresponsible and unfair to others living in the area. If you see it, please let us know so we can take action.
