We’re reminding residents to come forward and get support during ASB Awareness Week (29 June to 5 July) - reassuring communities that they don’t have to deal with anti-social behaviour alone.
ASB Awareness Week, led by Resolve, is a national campaign to raise awareness and improve confidence in reporting to make sure people get the right support.
Over the past year, Thirteen has supported thousands of customers with anti-social behaviour concerns - successfully resolving over 2,600.
That’s why it’s using the campaign week to remind customers that help is available, every report makes a difference and no concern is too small.
At Thirteen, tackling ASB isn’t just about enforcement, it’s about supporting people to feel safe and secure in their homes.
Each report is handled with a tailored approach, with specialist teams working closely with customers and partners, including the police, local authorities and support agencies.
Head of housing services Katina Lytra said: “Whether it’s dealing with noise nuisance, harassment or neighbourhood concerns, our focus is on listening and understanding individual situations, taking appropriate action, addressing the cause of the issues and providing support.
“We know that anti-social behaviour can have a real impact on how people feel in their homes, which is why supporting our customers is always our priority.
“Last year, we were able to resolve over 2,600 cases thanks to customers coming forward and working with us. Reporting concerns early helps us step in sooner, offer the right support and prevent issues from escalating.
“We want our customers to feel confident that they’ll be listened to, supported and taken seriously.”
