We'll invest a further £5.1 million alongside this latest round of funding, taking the total investment to more than £8 million. This will help even more Thirteen customers benefit from energy-saving improvements.
A total of 727 homes will benefit from the upgrades, which include cavity wall and loft insulation, solar panels and other measures designed to improve energy efficiency.
Chief investment and property officer Sharon Thomas said: “At Thirteen, we're committed to creating sustainable homes that support our customers' health, wellbeing and affordability.
"This significant investment will help make hundreds of homes warmer and more comfortable, support health and wellbeing, and help reduce overall energy usage.
“The latest programme of improvement work will be completed by March 2028 and we're looking forward to seeing the positive difference it makes for our customers.”
The third wave of Warm Homes funding was secured through the Tees Valley Combined Authority consortium, which brings together social landlords from across the region.
