Starts at Home Day was launched in 2015 by the National Housing Federation to highlight the value of care and support services and the difference that having a safe and secure place to call home can make to people's lives.

At Thirteen, we own and manage a number of extra care, sheltered and supported housing schemes across Teesside, the North East and Yorkshire. They all offer specialist support to help older and more vulnerable people to live independently and stay safe.

We also offer a range of support and care services too, helping a wide range of people who face challenges in their lives. We provide services for homeless people, ex-offenders, people with mental health issues, people recovering from substance misuse, families, women and young people.

Starts at Home Day is important to us because it’s a great opportunity for us to join together with other housing associations to show the real impact of these services.

For more information, visit our supported living pages or call us on 0300 111 1000.
