The pilot, provided by Thirteen’s repairs and maintenance team provides a handyperson service in addition to the normal repairs service.
The trial period, which began at the beginning of October, was initially offered to customers in Stockton on Tees, but since its success, it has been extended to customers throughout the Tees Valley.
Appointments for the paid service are provided by Thirteen’s trade operatives and customers can request these appointments by:
- contacting our customer service centre on 0300 111 1000
- emailing us at: customerservices@thirteengroup.co.uk
Repairs and maintenance contracts manager Rachel Cox said: “It’s fantastic to see so many customers using the service.
“We know that sometimes our customers need some extra help around their home, with odd jobs such as connecting a gas cooker or plumbing in their washing machine and many other jobs which are not part of our normal repairs service that we provide to customers.
“It can be difficult and sometimes expensive to call someone out who you don’t know, so that’s why we’re offering competitive prices for our customers.
“The jobs we’ll be carrying are limited while we’re in the trial period, but we would hope to increase this in the future.”
If a customer would like to use this new service, they must make any payments upfront. For further information please contact us on 0300 111 1000.
