Future Steps
Thirteen Group are working closely with The Wise Group and A Way Out to provide support for ex-offenders across the Tees Valley, Durham and Darlington to help them settle back into society.
The Future Steps scheme uses a person-centred approach to help to support adults at risk of offending or reoffending.
The service has been designed to support individuals to live long-term stable and settled lives, by helping them find and maintain the right accommodation, providing holistic support and access to specialist advice when needed.
Our dedicated tenancy support coordinators work with individuals to provide a service tailored to each person. The coordinators provide customers with a range of support including budgeting, accessing services online, managing tenancies and acquiring household essentials.
By building customer’s independence, the scheme looks to move customers into or closer to employment, through accessing volunteering, training and employment opportunities.
The new service is funded by Achieving Real Change in Communities (ARCC) and aims to build upon our existing services of support to people, to rebuild their lives and give individuals a greater a sense of belonging when they settle back into society.
