We offer different housing and support projects across Teesside, Durham and Bishop Auckland, each designed to help you build independence and manage your home with confidence.
This project provides accommodation for families who are homeless in Middlesbrough and offers 12 two-bedroom and two three-bedroom flats with access to a communal area, laundry facilities and outside play area.
A crash pad is also available for homeless 18-year-olds for a maximum stay of four weeks. Staff members are available 24 hours per day.
The service we provide at this project helps residents to move on to full independence, giving them the skills to successfully manage their future permanent tenancy.
People can get support for a wide range of issues including:
-
money management
-
developing confidence
-
getting back independence
-
information and advice to help you find work, training or education

The Resettlement Service supports vulnerable refugees predominantly from Syria to settle in the Redcar and Cleveland area.
The scheme provides a range of support for families or individuals arriving in the country under the UK Resettlement Scheme.
This helps people to integrate into the UK and to live independently in the country. The scheme has welcomed families from countries such as Syria, Iraq, Afghan and South Sudan since the team started in 2006.
Our support provides a secure environment for refugees. This helps people to recover from their experiences, learn about the UK, develop trust in others and begin to rebuild their lives.
People are referred to the Resettlement Service by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, and the scheme supports people for up to five years.
