Gary is the former CEO of Mind in Darlington and hasd worked in the voluntary sector for over 30 years before his retirement in 2019.
He volunteers as the Lead Governor for Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Mental Health Trust, Vice Chair of Teesside Mind and of Stockton and District Advice and Information (Stockton CAB) and as Chair of Headway Darlington.
He is also a lay representative for NHS England across the North East and Yorkshire. Gary is a Thirteen Group leaseholder with properties in Stockton and Billingham and has been a customer since 2013. He has lived and worked on Teesside for over sixty years.
