The £1.7million investment work in Roseworth will see customers receive home improvements including new kitchens, electrical rewires, bathrooms and external work, such as windows, doors and canopies.

Thirteen’s site manager Cliff Laherty said: “It’s a massive team effort. Everyone is doing a fantastic job and we’re getting great feedback from our customers.

“When we’re carrying out full electrical re-wires and fitting new kitchens, it can be quite disruptive for our customers, so having Jackie, our investment liaison advisor on the estate every day to provide an excellent customer service is invaluable.

“Seeing the customers excited about the work is really rewarding for the team. The new, modern kitchen choices available give our customers the opportunity to personalise their home and they’ll often tell us about their plans to make further improvements to make their house a home.”

The team started working on the estate in July and work is expected to be complete in February.

The work is part of Thirteen’s £31million investment plans, which will see over 2,400 homes benefit from improvement work over 45 estates across the North East.
