Organised by our housing services team alongside partner agencies, the event held at the Frank Wiseman Centre encouraged people to engage with organisations in the area and to build trust within the community.

Teams visited customers’ homes to invite them along and families enjoyed taking part in the activities, while they had the opportunity to speak to the teams about issues that matter to them.

Housing services coordinator Lucy Robertson said: “The event was designed to encourage customers to engage with local organisations, as well as provide the opportunity to raise concerns about anti-social behaviour and access support.

“It was fantastic to see so many residents come along and get involved. Events like this are really important to show that the support is available and that we’re here to listen.

“Working together with partner agencies means that we can make a real difference for our customers and the wider community.”

Thanks to our housing services, employability and estate services colleagues, Accent Housing, the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Cleveland Police, Cleveland Fire Brigade, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Family Hubs and Youth Support Services, Civic Enforcement, Crime Stoppers, VCAS and local Councillors – the event was a big success.
