Customers are invited to Thirteen’s new Hull store

Customers and house-hunters are invited to the official opening of a Hull one-stop shop where people can find out all about social landlord Thirteen.

Thirteen’s new store, on Marfleet Lane, gives existing customers a place to drop in, pay their rent, report a repair or chat about anything related to their tenancy, while local residents can stop by to find out more about Thirteen and the homes it has available to rent in the area.

The launch event, on Thursday, May 12, 11am to 2.30pm, at 302 Marfleet Lane, Hull, HU9 5AQ, is open to existing customers as well as anyone in the community who is interested in finding out a bit more about Thirteen.

David Ripley, executive director for customer services at Thirteen, said: “Our customers are at the heart of what we do at Thirteen and they told us that they’d really value the opportunity to be able to talk to us face-to-face. So, we listened to this, and got to work on a new high street store.

“After months of hard work, it’s really exciting to be able to hold this official launch event for our store on Marfleet Lane. We’d love our existing customers to come along and have a chat with us and the invitation is open to anyone else in the community who might want to find out a bit more about Thirteen and what we do too.”

The store is the second for Thirteen, its first being in Stockton-on-Tees. Thirteen welcomed new customers in Hull in the summer of 2021 after acquiring 600 homes from Clarion Housing Group.

David continued: “Customer experience is so important to Thirteen. We’re dedicated to providing the services our customers want and need, so we’re really proud to be able to offer the face-to-face service our customers told us they wanted.”
