The work to convert the old warden’s flat into a two bedroom house and upgrade the electrics to create charging points for the resident’s mobility scooters at Gresley Court, has been carried out by Thirteen’s design and delivery team in partnership with Vision Building Services.

Thirteen’s project manager Stuart Poulter said: “All of the design work has been carried out by our in-house team. This much-needed work has made a real difference and we know that the new facilities will be well used by the residents.

“Schemes like this are so important so that people can live as independently as possible, that’s why we need to invest in facilities, ensuring they are modern and comfortable so that every person has a home that meets their needs."

Gresley Court, located on Burton Terrace in Saltburn is managed by Thirteen and provides independent living for people aged 60 or over, within 26 one-bedroom flats. The scheme offers modern accommodation with a communal area, garden and on-site activities for the residents to enjoy.

This year’s £31m investment programme is well underway and will benefit thousands of customers across the Tees Valley.
