Residents at Bellamy Court are enjoying a new outdoor space and refurbished communal areas at the independent living scheme in Pallister Park.

The design and delivery team worked in partnership with Esh Property Services and Thirteen’s grounds maintenance team to transform the un-used conservatory into a much-needed tranquil outdoor seating area, while creating a new refurbished communal entrance and modern lounge.

Resident Darrell Johns has lived at Bellamy Court for the last four years, he said: “I’ve always enjoyed gardening and I had quite a big garden before I moved here, so it was great to be involved with the project, from helping to choose the plants and now taking care of the garden.

“I enjoy living here and this has really made a difference for us.”

Project manager Stuart Poulter said: “Maintaining the standards of our properties is a priority, to make sure that people have a home which is modern and comfortable.

“We’ve worked really closely with the residents, from the initial consultation and throughout the project. It’s been great to involve the residents and hear such positive feedback now the work is complete.”

This year’s £31million investment programme is well underway and will benefit thousands of Thirteen’s customers.
