The prominent site, just off Yarm Road was originally home to a sheltered housing scheme, which was decanted and demolished over five years ago.
As part of our over 55s Buyin Part with Shared Ownership scheme, Trinity View will shortly be home to seven detached and semi-detached bungalows.
Similar to the traditional Buyin Part with Shared ownership, the over 55s scheme allows older customers to buy a share of their home – usually between 25% and 75% – with a lower deposit, smaller mortgage and monthly payment on the rest.
The homes on offer are the Preston, a two-bedroom detached bungalow, available from a 25% share of £43,000 and a deposit as little as £2,150 and the Trinity, a two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow, available from a 25% share of £37,750 and a deposit of around £1,888.
All seven homes will be energy efficient and include some integrated kitchen appliances, a wet room, external doors with level access and either a drive or off-street parking.
Trinity View is being delivered by Thirteen in partnership with Engie who will build the properties, supported by funding from Homes England and is due to be finished by Summer 2019.
