West of the picturesque seaside town of Whitby, Chancel Meadows offers two, three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows with options to buy outright, buy in part with shared ownership and rent.
The first phase of shared ownership homes have already been reserved but we have other homes available to buy now and through the Help to Buy scheme. The second phase of homes will be released in the summer, and we are currently taking early bird reservations.
Works to the surrounding roads that need to be carried out before the properties can be made available including a new puffin crossing on High Stakesby Road and essential works to the roundabout at the junction of High Stakesby Road and Guisborough Road, are nearing completion.
People who want to rent a home will be given priority if they already live in Whitby or the surrounding villages or have a strong connection to the area. The majority of buyers who have reserved a home to date have all been from the Whitby area.
The new homes are beautifully designed and offer a contemporary fitted kitchen, living area, family bathroom, double-glazing, gas central heating and parking.
