Self-help videos published to help customers

Thirteen’s very own property services staff members are starring in a series of easy to follow videos, to help support customers with common problems they might come across in their home, which are often easy to fix.

The first videos, produced by the communications team, give step by step instructions to the customer on how to fault find when they have either no electricity, or no heating or hot water.

The team now are in the process of producing the next set of helpful videos, which will include, how to solve common plumbing problems, such as blocked sinks, toilets and showers.

Director of investment and maintenance Nik Turner said: “We’re constantly looking at what we can do to improve the service we provide to customers. After a focus group was set up, Thirteen’s involved customers suggested that publishing some self help videos would support the demand on repairs and calls about common and easy to fix problems, so we hope these videos will really help our customers."
