Skills boost to help support customers

Colleagues in Thirteen’s environmental team are boosting their skills to help customers understand their household energy bills.

This week, as we mark Warm Homes Week, retrofit customer engagement coordinator Nathan Butler, who recently joined the team is starting the level 3 award in energy awareness, run by NEA.

The course, which includes 24 hours of online learning and an exam, will help Nathan gain the tools and knowledge to pass on advice to customers. 

Nathan said: “I want to be able to support our customers and help them understand how they can reduce their energy bills.

“This course will help me learn more about the energy industry, tariffs and how changing behaviours can have a big impact on household energy bills and what this means for the environment.

“With many different heating systems, I know that this will give me the confidence to support customers in the future.”
