The new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will make it easier for organisations like ourselves to access land owned by Homes England - the Government's housing delivery agency.

In a further boost to our ambitions to deliver 6,100 new homes by 2028, we've been appointed to the DPS for both large and small sites, meaning we can bid on a broad range of opportunities.

We're joined on the list by fellow housing associations and major housebuilders, and national SME contractors.

Sharon Thomas, director of strategic partnerships, said:

"This is fantastic news for Thirteen and will help us to build on our ambitious housing development aspirations across the North East, Yorkshire and Humber region. It also closely follows the announcement that we've secured £191.3m as a Strategic Partner for the Affordable Homes Programme 2021-26.

"It's testament to the fantastic work our team are doing and will mean we can play an even greater role in addressing the current housing crisis."

Thirteen's chief executive, Ian Wardle, added:

"We're absolutely delighted to be among the first 66 firms to be appointed to Homes England's new delivery partner list.

"It's an exciting time for Thirteen, and we're really looking forward to playing our part in the Government's ambition to provide great quality homes for all."
