Thirteen has made a new appointment to strengthen its top team.

Paul Jenkins

3 Dec 2021

Paul Jenkins has been appointed into the role of Executive Director of Assets and becomes a permanent member of the leadership team.

He joined Thirteen in 2015 as group Head of Asset Management before moving into the role of Director of Asset Management, then in March this year, as Interim Executive Director of Assets.

Over a number of weeks, a very robust recruitment process was carried out with leadership team colleagues and board members, as well as sessions with customers and colleagues within assets. Both internal and external candidates were considered for the role and taken through what was a very competitive process.

Chief Executive Ian Wardle said: “We’re delighted to announce Paul’s appointment. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a strong background in strategic asset management.

“We have ambitious plans to invest millions of pounds into homes over the coming years, also ensuring that we comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

“He will further our ambitions around asset investment, building safety, sustainability and decarbonisation, setting higher standards to keep our colleagues and customers safe.

“Paul will lead our commitment to improving the quality of our customers’ homes and the surrounding environment, while forming successful partnerships to shape and help deliver our future plans.”

Paul added: “I am proud to be appointed and look forward to working with the team to deliver our ambitions, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.”
