The affordable new homes, will improve the Redcar Road area of South Bank and complement the design from the popular South Bank Eco Village.

Following consultation with residents last year  we received some fantastic feedback and suggestions which have helped shape the final designs for the planning application.

Subject to planning approval being secured, we aim to start work on the new homes in the Spring next year.

Ian Wardle, Thirteen’s chief executive, said: “South Bank has an amazing community spirit and subject to planning approve we’re really looking forward to working with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and partners on delivering these great bungalows.”

South Bank Ward Councillor, Sue Jeffrey, added: "This is excellent news.  It is now eight years since we had any new homes built in South Bank and this investment will be a real boost for the area.  It is brilliant that Thirteen have shown such confidence in our town as a great place to live."
