Gas Awards

1 May 2018

The team was recognised as the ‘Gas Repairs & Maintenance Scheme of the Year’ at the Association of Gas Safety Managers’ annual conference and awards.

The company’s gas compliance team has maintained 100% compliance, every day, for 20 months, across its 28,742 properties, with gas central heating.

Thirteen’s new IT system, which issues jobs more efficiently through its scheduling system, allows the company to evaluate the performance of Thirteen’s tradespeople, as well as providing 100% electronic certificates, was the reason behind the company’s nomination.

Thirteen’s executive director of property services Russell Thompson said: “This is a fantastic achievement for the team and one they should be very proud of.

“Gas servicing and repairs and maintenance performance has improved significantly since introducing the new IT system.

“Introducing these changes, with the drive and enthusiasm of the team has transformed the customer experience that we deliver and seen customer satisfaction levels increase. The system is an extremely important development for the company and it’s fantastic that our work has been acknowledged in such a prestigious award.”

The awards, which are in their sixth year, celebrate and reward the achievements, dedication, contribution and overall commitment of compliance professionals to gas and electrical safety within the social housing sector. Other finalists in the award category included ForViva & Liberty Gas, GreenSquare Group, Poplar HARCA and Stacey McDonald & Compliance Team – United Communities.
