The team, who maintain around one million square metres of green spaces across the environment where Thirteen manages homes, have been awarded in the ‘employer excellence category’ for their outstanding approach towards training, development and career progression within estate services.

Judges recognised how Thirteen demonstrated exemplary standards of professional excellence.

Thirteen’s head of estate services Michael Hall said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised. We work hard to ensure that we’re continually raising standards, offering the very best training and opportunities to the whole team.

“We're committed to developing our colleagues and providing opportunities for them to grow their careers and we always want to see them progress.

“We have a very knowledgeable and skilled team of colleagues in estate services, who have many years’ experience. They take great pride in maintaining the environment to the highest standard, to benefit the local community.

“We see how they go above and beyond to help our customers, involving them in community projects, which clearly has a positive impact on everyone’s wellbeing and the environment.

“A career in horticulture is an exciting profession with many opportunities and winning this award demonstrates how committed we are to investing in the team.”

The annual BALI Awards recognises the contribution made to the landscaping and grounds maintenance industry across the UK.
