Working in partnership with Esh Construction, to carry out a range of home improvements, on three estates within Norton and Billingham, in Stockton on Tees.

The plans will see the homes benefit from a range of internal and external improvements – from modern kitchens, boilers and heating systems to windows and doors.

The work will enhance and modernise the homes, while improving their energy efficiency.

The team began working closely with customers earlier this year to help them learn more about the work and offer them choices so they could personalise their home.

The work which recently started on site is expected to be completed in January 2025.

Executive director of customer services David Ripley said: “This is the first of many exciting investment schemes which will be delivered this year as part of our £55 million home investment programme, to bring thousands of home improvements to our customers’ homes in the North East and Yorkshire.

“This shows how committed we are to investing in our customers’ homes and that providing great homes, now, and in the future for our customers remains our priority.”

Esh Construction’s framework manager, Andrew Harrow, said: “Securing these latest awards marks the start of our second year of delivery with Thirteen on the Capital Investment Framework.

"Since starting work as a framework partner in 2023, we have worked hard to develop a robust and tailored structure that allows us to deliver simultaneous refurbishment and upgrade schemes with a customer first approach. We look forward to another busy year working collaboratively to improve homes for residents.”
